Favorite Things: Emalox Norway Bowls

I want to share some things this week that have brought me joy over the years and will continue to do so in this new year. Clients often ask us what items I love to collect in my own home and I MUST start with these amazing little vintage bowls by Emalox Norway. ⁠

My dear friend @anthonysantellicreative gave them to me as a gift years ago when we worked at Martha Stewart Living magazine and they give me instant joy. Thank you Anthony!!! From what I've researched, some people say they are enameled aluminum and were designed by Bjørn Engø in the 1960s while some claim they are anodized metal with a lacquer finish. If anyone is an Emalox expert, please let me know! Either way, they are bright, glossy and irresistible. You can find me hunting more on eBay in the middle of the night.
